BrandName Interaction with Food Product 

Avoid taking it at the same time with tea, coffee, excess fiber, spinach, and high-phytate foods, as they reduce calcium absorption. Take with water after food for better absorption.

Intake routine/cycle

Daily dose

Take BrandName exactly as your doctor recommends. The dose may change based on your condition and how well you respond. Do not take more than prescribed without consulting your doctor.

Missed Dose

If you forget to take your medicine, take the medication as soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Always consult the doctor before making any changes to your dosage.

Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA)

Calcium

The recommended dietary allowance for calcium in adults is about 1000 mg per day. Women above 50 years and older adults may need around 1200 mg per day. Children need around 700–1300 mg depending on age.

Alfacalcidol

There is no fixed recommended dietary allowance for alfacalcidol, as it is an active form of vitamin D. The dose is determined by the doctor based on the individual’s medical condition and needs.

Calcium is found in milk, curd, cheese, yogurt, paneer, leafy green vegetables, almonds, sesame seeds, tofu, and fortified foods.

Alfacalcidol
