Calcium 250mg + Calcitriol 0.25 mcg + Menaquinone 50 mcg tablet is used to prevent and treat calcium deficiency and weak bones. It is commonly given when there is low calcium, vitamin D deficiency, osteoporosis, bone weakness, fracture recovery, muscle cramps, or increased calcium needs in older adults and postmenopausal women. Calcium helps build and maintain strong bones and teeth. Calcitriol is an active form of vitamin D that helps the body absorb calcium better from the intestine and maintain proper calcium levels in the blood. Menaquinone (vitamin K2) helps direct calcium into the bones and supports bone strength. 

Common side effects of Calcium 250mg + Calcitriol 0.25 mcg + Menaquinone 50 mcg include constipation, diarrhea, stomach upset, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and bloating. Avoid taking Calcium 250mg + Calcitriol 0.25 mcg + Menaquinone 50 mcg tablet with tea, coffee, excess fiber, spinach, and very high-phytate foods around the same time because they may reduce calcium absorption. It is best taken with water and after food for better absorption and to reduce stomach upset.

Daily dose

Take Calcium 250mg + Calcitriol 0.25 mcg + Menaquinone 50 mcg exactly as your doctor recommends. The dose may change based on your condition and how well you respond. Do not take more than prescribed without consulting your doctor.

Missed Dose

If you forget to take your medicine, take the medication as soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Always consult the doctor before making any changes to your dosage.

Calcium

The recommended dietary allowance for calcium in adults is about 1000 mg per day. Women above 50 years and older adults may need around 1200 mg per day. Children need around 700–1300 mg depending on age.

Calcitriol

There is no separate daily RDA for calcitriol because it is the active form of vitamin D used as a medicine. For general vitamin D needs, adults usually need around 600 IU daily, and older adults may need around 800 IU daily.

Menaquinone

There is no fixed separate RDA for menaquinone, but the general daily requirement for vitamin K in adults is about 90 mcg for women and 120 mcg for men. Children need lower amounts depending on age.
