About BrandName

BrandName tablet is an antifungal medicine, composed of Griseofulvin. BrandName is used to treat fungal infections of the skin, scalp, hair, and nails, especially when creams are not effective. BrandName works by stopping fungal growth and binding to keratin, making the skin, hair, and nails resistant to infection so that new healthy tissue gradually replaces the infected part. It is usually taken once or twice daily w to improve absorption, and the duration of treatment may range from a few weeks for skin infections to several months for nail infections. Common side effects of BrandName include headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, dizziness, and sensitivity to sunlight, while rare side effects may include liver problems or serious allergic reactions.  

It should be avoided in people with allergy to the drug, liver disease, or during pregnancy. BrandName tablet should not be taken with alcohol and birth control pills as it may cause interactions. Avoid consuming more than 1 gram of BrandName. Overdose may cause tremors, chest pain, fast or irregular heartbeat, nervousness, dizziness and headache. In case of any of these symptoms, seek immediate medical help.

As new healthy tissue grows, it gradually replaces the infected part, helping to clear the infection over time.

Missed Dose

If you forget to take your medicine, take the medication as soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Always consult the doctor before making any changes to your dosage.

Overdose

It is not recommended to take Griseofulvin more than 1 gram per day. Overdose may cause tremors, chest pain, fast or irregular heartbeat, nervousness, dizziness, headache, muscle cramps, or high blood pressure. In case of any of these symptoms, seek immediate medical help.
