BrandName Uses 

BrandName are pulmonary medicines that combine bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroids. Used to prevent and treat symptoms of the following conditions like:  

1. Bronchial asthma 
2. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) 
3. Wheezing and chest tightness 
4. Airway swelling and inflammation 

Directions for use

1. Make sure your rota haler is clean and dry. 
2. Hold it straight with the mouthpiece facing down. 
3. Open the rotahaler by twisting it into two parts. 
4. Put the rotacap in the chamber  
5. Close and twist until you hear a click this pierce the capsule. 
6. Breathe out gently (away from the device). 
7. Put the mouthpiece in your mouth and breathe deeply and quickly. 
8. Hold your breath for a few seconds, then breathe out slowly. 
9. Check the capsule. If powder is left, breathe in again. 
10. Throw away the empty capsule. 
11. Rinse your mouth after use (especially if your rotacap has a steroid).

How BrandName works 

This medicine works by relaxing and opening the airways so you can breathe more easily, while also reducing swelling inside the lungs. Tiotropium and Formoterol help the airway muscles relax and keep them open for a long time, making breathing smoother. Ciclesonide is a steroid that reduces inflammation, swelling, and mucus inside the airways. Together, they help maintain the lungs health and reduce the risk of disease progression 

Safety Measures and Warning 

Allergy/Hypersensitivity

Avoid if you are allergic to BrandName as it may increase the medication’s levels in the blood and potentially cause side effects. Inform your doctor before they prescribe this medicine. 

Heart Problems

Formoterol can increase heart rate and blood pressure. If you have a history of heart conditions such as irregular heartbeat, heart failure, or heart attacks, use this medication cautiously and only under medical supervision. 

Glaucoma

Avoid using this if you have narrow-angle glaucoma. Tiotropium may increase eye pressure and worsen vision problems. Communicate with your doctor about your past medical conditions. 

Urinary Retention / Prostate Problems

People with severe prostate enlargement or trouble passing urine should avoid it. Tiotropium can worsen urinary blockage. Inform your doctor about your past disease history. 

Severe Liver Problems

Ciclesonide is processed in the liver. If your liver is not working well, the medicine may build up in your body and increase side effects. Communicate with your doctor regarding your disease history.  

Active Lung Infections

Avoid if you currently have an untreated lung infection. Steroids like ciclesonide can weaken immunity and make infections worse. Inform your doctor in case you had any lung infections in past.

There are no major food interactions with this medicine. You can take your inhaler with or without food. However, avoid alcohol and smoking as they can irritate the lungs and reduce the medicine’s effect. If any food or drink makes your breathing worse, avoid it and inform your doctor.

Intake routine/cycle

Daily dose

Take BrandName exactly as your doctor recommends. The dose may change based on your condition and how well you respond. Do not take more than prescribed without consulting your doctor. 

Missed Dose

If you forget to take your medicine, take the medication soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Always consult the doctor before making any changes to your dosage. 

Overdose

It is not recommended to take more than the prescribed amount of BrandName as overdose may cause tremors, chest pain, fast or irregular heartbeat, nervousness, dizziness, headache, muscle cramps, and high blood pressure. Seek immediate medical attention if any of these occur.
