How BrandName works 

Cefixime kills bacteria by rupturing the skin of bacteria, by which bacteria die. To increase the effect of cefixime clavulanic acid works by blocking the bacteria’s protective enzyme. Resulting in synergistic effect. Clavulanic acid blocks this enzyme, protecting cefixime so it can continue killing the bacteria. As a result, the combination works effectively to clear the infection and help the patient recover.

Allergy/Hypersensitivity

If you are allergic to this medication, as taking it can cause some serious side effects like breathing problems, wheezing, skin rashes, swelling, or serious allergic reactions. Always inform your doctor if you had experienced any reaction to antibiotics before using this medicine. 

Kidney Problems

If you have severe kidney disease, communicate with your doctor, as the medicine may build up in your body and increase side effects.    

Liver Problems

Always communicate with your doctor about your past disease history, as liver diseases will reduce the metabolism and can lead to toxicity or side effects.  

History of Antibiotic-Associated Diarrhea

Avoid if you previously developed severe diarrhea or any gut infection caused by bad bacteria (i.e. C. difficile) after taking antibiotics, unless your doctor decides it’s necessary.

Intake routine/cycle

Daily dose

Take BrandName exactly as your doctor recommends. The dose may change based on your condition and how well you respond. Do not take more than prescribed without consulting your doctor.

Missed Dose

If you forget to take your medicine, take the medication as soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Always consult the doctor before making any changes to your dosage.

Overdose

It is not recommended to take BrandName more than the prescribed amount. Overdose may cause tremors, chest pain, fast or irregular heartbeat, nervousness, dizziness, headache, muscle cramps, or high blood pressure. In case of any of these symptoms, seek immediate medical help.

Directions for use
