How BrandName works

BrandName targets beta‑3 receptors on the bladder wall, which signals the muscle to relax and stretch more easily. This allows the bladder to hold more urine without triggering sudden urges, reducing frequent trips to the bathroom.

BrandName Summary

BrandName is a medicine from the beta‑3 adrenergic agonist class, used to treat overactive bladder (OAB), a condition where you feel a frequent, sudden urge to urinate that’s hard to control. It works by relaxing the bladder muscle, allowing it to hold more urine and reducing the need to rush to the toilet. Common side effects include high blood pressure, headache, dry mouth, constipation, and fast heartbeat (especially when combined with solifenacin). People with uncontrolled hypertension, severe liver or kidney problems, or urinary retention should avoid it. It can be taken with or without food, but children should take it with meals; alcohol may worsen side effects, so caution is advised. Doses around or above 400 mg may trigger dangerous overdose effects such as irregular heartbeat or severe dizziness.
