How BrandName works

BrandName helps control seizures by working on a special protein in the brain called SV2A. This protein plays a key role in how nerve cells send messages to each other. During a seizure, the brain’s electrical activity goes out of control, firing all at once. BrandName helps calm that firing outburst of signals. By attaching to the SV2A protein, BrandName changes the way certain brain chemicals (neurotransmitters) are released. This reduces the chances of nerves becoming overexcited. As a result, it becomes harder for a seizure to start or spread. Importantly, BrandName does all of this without affecting normal brain function. It helps keep brain signals stable and balanced, so a person is less likely to have seizures.  

Safety Measures and Warning

Pregnancy

Pregnant women are not recommended to take BrandName, as there are no human studies supporting its safety during pregnancy. In case of an emergency, consult a doctor before using it.

Breastfeeding

BrandName passes into breast milk. Tell your healthcare provider if you are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed. Your healthcare provider will advise you if you should stop breastfeeding or stop BrandName.

Patients consuming alcohol or any antidepressant medications should not take levetiracetam, as it causes severe overdose leading to potential adverse effects.
