It is used to treat joint and bone problems like osteoarthritis (joint wear and tear), rheumatoid arthritis (joint swelling and pain), gout (uric acid buildup in joints), and ankylosing spondylitis (stiff and painful back), acute pain, low back pain, and muscle spasms.  

Common side effects include stomach pain, dizziness, diarrhea, headaches, and sleepiness. Not recommended for people with heart disease, high blood pressure, liver/kidney problems, seizures, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding, unless advised by a doctor. 

BrandName Uses 

BrandName is an oral medicine belonging to the class of (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is useful to treat pain, swelling, and inflammation caused due to muscle spasm in different areas like:

  1. Lower back pain, 
  2. Muscle weakness conditions like trauma, brain, and spinal cord problems.  
  3. Osteoarthritis (damage to the joint cushioning), 
  4. Rheumatoid arthritis (pain, stiffness, swelling and loss of movement of joints),  
  5. Gout (pain, redness of joints due to deposition of mineral crystals),  
  6. Ankylosing spondylitis (an inflammatory disease affecting the spine and other large joints of the body) 

Directions for use

  1. If you forget to take this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. 
  2. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, at the same time each day.

How BrandName works 

BrandName, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Etoricoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.

Etoricoxib: 5-chloro-6′-methyl-3-[4-(methylsulfonyl)phenyl]-2,3′-bipyridine. 

Thiocolchicoside: N-[(7S)-1,2-dimethoxy-10-methylsulfanyl-9-oxo-3-[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy-6,7-dihydro-5H-benzo[a]heptalen-7-yl]acetamide. 

Intake routine/cycle

Daily dose

Take BrandName exactly as your doctor recommends. The dose may change based on your condition and how well you respond. Do not take more than prescribed without consulting your doctor. 

Missed Dose

If you forget to take your medicine, take the medication as soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Always consult the doctor before making any changes to your dosage. 

Overdose

Don’t take BrandName more than 68 mg per day may include edema, dizziness, headache, irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure and abdominal discomfort. Rush them to the hospital in case of emergency
