Avoid taking with tea, coffee, excess fiber, spinach, and high-phytate foods near the same time, as they reduce calcium absorption. Best taken after food with water.

Missed Dose

Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA)

Calcium

The recommended dietary allowance for calcium in adults is about 1000 mg per dayWomen above 50 years and older adults may need around 1200 mg per dayChildren need around 700–1300 mg depending on age.

Calcitriol

There is no separate daily RDA for calcitriol because it is the active form of vitamin D used as a medicine. For general vitamin D needs, adults usually need around 600 IU daily, and older adults may need around 800 IU daily.

Zinc

Adult men require around 11 mg per day, and adult women require around 8 mg per day.

Calcium

Calcium is found in milk, curd, cheese, yogurt, paneer, leafy green vegetables, almonds, sesame seeds, tofu, and fortified foods.

Calcitriol

Calcitriol is not naturally found in foods in the same medicine form, but vitamin D can be obtained from sunlight exposure, egg yolk, fatty fish, fortified milk, fortified cereals, and mushrooms.

Zinc

Zinc is found in nuts, seeds, whole grains, dairy products, legumes, meat, and shellfish.
